first let me tell you this is for those who are looking for link exchange with higher rated sites. I have something to share with you regarding this. Even you can get higher rates by search engine. Just pm me. No its not scheme, neither its anykind of buying links etc. Its totally free thing tht I myself planned out. Just require 15 arcade site owners with me. Thats it! I believe i must made some mistake thts the reason i m getting reply from moderator. If so i apologize for tht. Wel yes defenately i would like to share my plan with you. I am building up an exchange related to entertainment. Tht will include following categories:
1. Games
2. Music
3. Movies
4. Lyrics
5. Celebrities
6. Wallpapers
7. Funny stuff (pictures, videos etc.)
8. Jokes

I tel you frankly brendgard. I am new to web things, but after moving lot regarding link exchange i came to conclusion that if we make an exchange for FREE! thts dedicated to internal members. Like anyone can participate and can have all his links on all site & all links at his site.

Yes ofcourse i am clear with the idea. May be required some technical support.

Are you talking about an automated link exchange using something like a JavaScript to load all the links on each and every site? Or a manual system where each person is required to put the links in for others on their own site? Or something else? It sounds workable, depending on how it is done. Depending on that, I might be interested in trying it for a couple of real small sites to see how it goes. If it's automated using JS, it might not help with PR though, and the member sites would of course need to be concealed to prevent certain search engines from backhanding them for exchanging links.

Sorry for late reply, i came here yesterday and seen post of Brend. So i started thinking in tht way. Brend says javascript not works with pr. Brend, does this mean tht even php things wont help?
Wel here is my concept we (Brend, Peter & me) will be having a script tht automatically updates on members server, with access of 755 or may be 777, crawlers will check file for every 1 hour, it will also check codes of tht. Member are not require to do anything from their part, apart from placing php script. Once they done as per our installation guidelines, their part over. Then script will automatically check our server at every 10 hours for updation. Ofcourse every piece of link will be on user side. So there is no javascript, and defenately links will be on member side. If you didnt get wht i mean to say, please let me know

If you are having our site's scripts run an include() to grab a file from the central server with the contents being a list of links in text format(written in HTML, but file named .txt or .inc), that could work. For security purposes though I would want the file to be something other than PHP. A hacker taking control, or a member gone rogue, could corrupt the file with a virus, adware, redirect, etc, with greater ease if it were PHP than text. It could still be done, especialy by a member, but a text file would make it harder. It would need to be done in such a way that members are not auto acepted, and any links submitted are passed through filters to strip out JS, redirects, etc.

It could be made to work though. I think there are a couple of scripts out there that do this sort of thing already, sort of like a banner exchange but for links.
